Tortworth Lake Open Day

Tortworth Lake is private with no rights of access.

However the estate would like to welcome the public to enjoy this special place on the first Sunday of each month from February to October 2025.

The lake can be accessed on the left hand side, just before the lay-by, as you approach junction 14 of the M5 from the Tortworth direction.

Dogs are permitted but must be kept on leads. There is ample parking on site.

Unfortunately there is uneven ground in places and the tracks can be muddy, so wheelchair and pram access may be difficult.

Refreshments are provided for sale each Sunday (except February).

Entry is free of charge.

Please note: wild swimming is not permitted at the lake.
