Sharing is Caring

Start 2026 with kindness, community, and a little bit of fun by supporting Cobalt’s New Year events.

The season begins with The Big Sort (29 December – 15 January) a wonderful way to extend the spirit of Christmas. Simply donate your used Christmas cards at the giant collection bins outside . Cobalt’s dedicated volunteers will transform them into brand-new recycled cards for Christmas 2026. If you’d like to roll up your sleeves and join the volunteer team, Cobalt would be delighted to welcome you.

On 5 February, head to Dunkertons Cider in Cheltenham for an evening of Line Dancing. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already know your grapevines and boot scoots, a friendly instructor will guide you through each routine. Expect music, laughter, and a relaxed atmosphere – with food and cider available to purchase. Every ticket sold helps support Cobalt’s vital work.

Looking ahead, the Walk for Cobalt returns on 21 March, taking participants through the beautiful surroundings and fascinating history of Cheltenham. The walk starts at Linton House, Cobalt’s home, and ends at the welcoming Exmouth Pub – a lovely way to enjoy the town while supporting charity.

And there’s more! Spring brings the much-loved Rare Plant Sale & Open Gardens at Quenington in April, followed by the vibrant Extreme Colour Run in May.
