Sharing is Caring

People across Gloucestershire are being invited to take part in Sue Ryder’s Starlight Hike Cheltenham on Saturday 17 October 2026, raising vital funds so more people can access the expert end-of-life care and grief support they deserve.

Sponsored by Allstone Speedy Skips and Monster Mix, the event returns to Ashley Manor Preparatory School, where participants will set off on a 10km walk through the spa town in memory of someone special. The evening begins at 6pm with refreshments, live entertainment and an energising Zumba before walkers set off at 6pm along a sparkling route featuring entertainment.

Last year, Sue Ryder provided more than 655,000 hours of expert care, including from Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice, thanks to fundraising events such as Starlight Hike.

Adult tickets start from £20 and include a T-shirt and medal. Participants are encouraged to raise £100 or more in sponsorship. Teams of five or more can receive 20% off registration using code TEAM20.
