Hiding just out of view behind the Shell Garage at Millwood, is one of Cams best kept secrets (until now). The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Charity Furniture shop is under new management and Sarah and Steve (both formally from Tetbury Charity Furniture Shop) would love to welcome you through the doors of their newly imagined shop.
Sarah and Steve are no strangers to retail, having over forty years experience between them. They jumped at the chance to take on the Cam shop after their former shop closed down at Christmas due to the land being developed on.
Sarah said “Its so nice to see a lot of our former customers walking in the door to support us, even if we have moved twelve miles away.
The shop prides itself on selling high quality, preloved, donated items of good quality furniture, electricals and bric-a-brac. No two days are ever the same, you never know what is going to come through the door next.
Steve said “Our customers and their reasons for visiting are as varied as our stock. We get homeowners, turning their house into a home, to interior designers looking for that unusual one-off piece to complete a room. A local social media star often buys props from us to use in his videos but he has also used the shop as a backdrop for some of his sketches.â€
All donations made at the Cotswold Charity Furniture shop, goes towards ensuring that no vulnerable animal in our local community goes without a safe space.
If you wish to donate, they do offer a free collection service of your larger good quality furniture. Smaller donations, including but not limited to electricals and bric-a-brac, can be dropped off directly at the shop but please call or email, as not all items are able to be sold.
So, to do your bit for the environment, support a local animal Charity and bag yourself a bargain, pop in and see Sarah or Steve.
