Stroud District Council staff presented a bouquet of flowers and card to tenant Mollie Tucker who celebrated her 100th birthday on Sunday.
Mollie spent the day celebrating with a party for family, friends and fellow residents at SDC’s Dryleaze House Independent Living scheme in Wotton under Edge, where she has lived for more than 10 years.
She opened a card and read out the message from their Majesties The King and Queen, and remarked that she’d had a “wonderful” party, thanking everyone for coming and her family for organising it.
