Stroud District residents will be joining people across the country and the Commonwealth to celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort over a weekend of special events from 6 to 8 May 2023.
Coronation Big Lunches, street parties and a day dedicated to good causes and volunteering will bring communities together to mark the occasion over the Coronation Bank Holiday weekend.
Coronation Day (Saturday, 6 May 2023) is a designated flag day, where all UK government buildings are required to fly the Union flag, and it will continue to be flown at Council buildings including Ebley Mill for this reason on Sunday and Monday as well.
