Carers Support Centre invites unpaid carers and professionals supporting carers across Bristol and South Gloucestershire to our annual free Carers Week event
During Carers Week 2024, on Thursday 13 June, weโll be presenting a special event at the BAWA Leisure Centre.
The day will cover many aspects of a caring life and present practical information to help while giving an opportunity to meet with other carers and get a bit of well-deserved pampering.
We are looking to offer sessions on a variety of caring-related subjects, including:
- Our new befriending and counselling services
- Employment and caring
- Palliative and end-of-life caring
- Estate planning matters, wills, lasting powers of attorney and inheritance tax
- Mental Health support for carers
As well as free pampering, weโll be providing lunch and a chance to visit information stalls provided by organisations that deliver carer-related services and information.ย After lunch there will be a chance to join in with a session for Soundwell Music Therapy.
If youโd like to join us, pre-booking your place is essential. Please note that it is not possible to bring along people you care for.
